Can Flowers and Men be Combined?
♫ Tuesday, August 26th, 2008Studies show that flowers actually have a positive effect on human beings and men aren’t far behind from being influenced? Though it is an established fact that men are not averse to flowers, one never really thinks of giving them flowers often. Get that idea out of your head. Flowers are as cherished by men as by women. Though they may not exactly go weak in the knees, men like to feel just as special and pampered as most women do.
Men like flowers in all colors, depending on their personalities. Some especially prefer colors that are vibrant and colorful, and enjoy flowers including the likes of red roses, pink orchids and yellow chrysanthemums. Others like dark and unusual shades and appreciate when a lady gives them a sultry black rose. When buying flowers for men, it’s important to go for simple arrangements. Men usually don’t like arrangements that are very elaborate and fancy. In fact adding interesting green plants and herbs to the arrangement is usually a good idea. These days, contemporary styles with sleek lines are great favorites with men. However, not all flowers can be given to all men. And in case you’re questioning whether that’s a huge generalization, we’re assuming you realize that certain flowers such as red roses symbolize passion and romance and are not really appropriate to be given as gifts to fathers, brothers, and so on. Flowers such as the white carnation, which symbolizes innocence, and the Belle of Ireland, which stands for good luck – can be gifted to any man, whether he’s a part of your family of group of friends. Remember, whether it is their birthday or a recent achievement in their professional lives, men like to be shown appreciation with flower gifts.
